IEP Frequently Asked Questions

What are the application deadlines?
All students wishing to enter for the Spring 2010 semester beginning in January 2010 must submit their completed application by November 1, 2009. All students wishing to enter for the Fall 2010 semester beginning in August 2010 must submit their completed application of June 1, 2010.
How do I pay course and other fees?
You may pay with a check, wire transfer, or credit card, however fees will apply.
Do you offer scholarships for IEP?
Currently we do not offer scholarships for IEP.
What should I plan to bring to Marywood?

How long does it take to complete the program?
This depends on your level of English when you begin the program, as well as your effort and motivation to learn the language.
Do you offer conditional acceptances?
Yes, Marywood will offer acceptance to a degree seeking program if you reach a proper level of English and meet the program’s admission standards. For more information, contact the Office of University Admissions at iep@marywood.edu.
Do you offer airport pickup?
Yes, we can offer airport pick-up from the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Airport. Marywood is easily accessible by automobile, bus and air. The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport is just a ten-minute ride from Marywood's campus. If a student arrives in New York or Philadelphia, he/she will have to arrange transportation to Scranton.
Can IEP students live on campus?
IEP students under the age of 21 must live on campus.
Can children attend the IEP?
IEP students must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate. We do not offer classes for children.
